Day 60 (tuesday)

I woke up around 4 today and kind of had a hard time sleeping so I played around on the internet for a few minutes and laid in my bed until around 8 o'clock. I got up and had breakfast and some coffee and did my usual routine. My computer was running low on battery power so I had to go back out into the common area. Maureen still wasn't home and I hadn't heard from her either but I assume that she is just working or something like that. I spent a good amount of time organizing some files on my computer and then decided to go fill up on water. There was a nice little break in between the rains so I timed it just right. I came back and spent a couple hours working on my observation reports and listening to the audio files I recorded. I made a pb & j (shortly before I had to take some pepto) and my tummy wasn't feeling it and then I got gassy. I won't eat the bread anymore, it is the common theme with my tummy aches (I have my theories). Now I am just laying down to rest for awhile. Maureen got in around 5 and was with some friends. I got a phone call (usually I just don't answer them but I did and it was for Maureen) and came out of the room to give Maureen the phone. I was able to meet her friends and they were incredibly nice. We had a very stimulating conversation about our courses of study and my observations thus far in Ghana. Maureen started making dinner (my favorite fried rice) and burned her hand on one of the pots from the steam. We spent some time talking with a couple of the roommates about our plans for the weekend after next (we are traveling up north to a place called Mole National Park). I finally came to my room and got ready for bed.
